First time blogger with big news!

Hello to all!

I hope this blog finds everyone well and enjoying the last couple weeks of summer. I took Austin to visit his new daycare for an hour today, and it hit me then I'm not quite ready to go back to school and leave him just yet. I have had a great summer with him, watching him grow and learn day to day has been absolutely amazing. He will be going to KinderCare, which is a block away from the school that I teach at. My principal had recommended KinderCare to me because her daughter attends, and she had nothing but exceptional things to say about the school. During our visit, Austin loved being around all the kids there, and already had a girlfriend holding his hand. I think when the time comes for me to drop him off, I will have a harder time than him! = )

I must admit this is my second time looking at this blog page, so I have just now read all the updated Hepbron news. I know fall is bringing great changes for a lot of people. Congrats to Matt and Karen on their engagement and wedding that will take place in October. Congrats to Mary K who is a new home owner! ( I get a lot of my information from facebook! ) = ) Congrats again to William and Kelly on tying the knot! Best of luck to you both in Arizona! I hope everyone has been able to relax and catch up with family this summer. I really do hope to get a chance to see everyone soon! I know Brian and Austin are anxious to meet the rest of the Hepbron clan!

I will close this blog with my big news. I figured it would be a good way to reach a lot of people at once! We just found out we are expecting our second baby in March! Expected due date is March 4th , which is one day before my dad's birthday. We are very excited! Brian thinks it's a girl this time, and I kind of feel like it is too! Only time will tell .... I will try and be a more dedicated blogger to keep everyone updated.

Austin charms Virginia!!

Helen and I just returned from a trip to Virginia to see Meghann and to meet the fam0us Austin of Wisconsin fame. He is as wonderful as his reputation! We met Meg, Austin, Mel, and Corey for lunch on Friday and then went back to Mel's for a nice visit. Austin was a perfect gentleman. He has a great disposition and never appears to or get disgruntled. He smiles through all the family chatter and seems perfectly at home with all the strangers he meets.
We met Spencer on Friday eve and went out for an Italian meal Nice to see Spencer. He is working construction while job hunting. He has big muscles from working out and wows all the girls. ( Get in touch with him if you hear of job opportunities. He and Corey are planning to be at Matt's wedding.) Meg looked fantastic as a young mother and beautified Mel ( with an updated hair style)was the perfect young looking grandma.
On Saturday morning , Helen made her compulsory field trip to the Leesburg Outlet Mall to Chico's. I fiddled around as usual. We met Meg, Mel and Austin for a light lunch at the Mall in Panaros. Again it was Austin's day to steal the attention of the restaurant patrons. We said goodbye after lunch and drove home getting here at about 10pm. We reconfirmed our plans to fly to Matt's wedding many times during the long drive home . That drive from NC gets longer and longer every year!
This summer has been a real treat for Helen and I. We have had the fun opportunity to great two beautiful new members into the Hepbron family- each one as priceless as the other. How lucky the greater Hepbron family really is to have two such wonderfully healthy and adorable younsters to join future raucus gatherings of the tribe. Looking forward to it. Thanks Dana and Meg!!
